The first day

Keep the bandage on for at least two to four hours after getting your tattoo. This allows the tattoo to breathe and prevents bacteria from entering the wound.

After removing the bandage, gently wash the tattooed area with mild, unscented soap and warm water. Use your clean hands or a soft cloth to clean the skin.

Gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel and avoid rubbing or irritating the area.

Healing

Apply a thin, even amount of an odorless and alcohol-free moisturizer to the tattoo several times a day. This helps keep the skin moist and speeds up the healing process.

Avoid scratching, picking or scraping the tattoo as this can cause infection and prolong the healing period.

Avoid exposing the tattoo to excessive sunlight, swimming, sauna or steam room for the first two weeks. These activities can prevent proper healing and color fastness.

Watch out for

Watch for any signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, pain or pus. If you experience these symptoms, contact a doctor or one of our professional tattoo artists for advice.

Pay attention to whether the colors in the tattoo fade abnormally or begin to disappear. This may indicate problems with the healing process and you should consult our team.
